"Yoga with Didem has changed my outlook and helped me physically and mentally through one of the most difficult periods in my life.

After the loss of my husband I thought I would try something new and yoga seemed obvious but I found it tricky to find the right instructor.

Didem was friendly, kind, funny and welcoming from my very first class, so much so that I requested one2one tuition (which I would recommend for anyone new to yoga as her tution on learning the basics with such precision changed my approach fundamentally). That was 7 months ago and whether it's one2one, one of her group classes or a group class via zoom, I find myself feeling rejuvenated and stronger in body and mind after each class. 

She must plan and prepare a great deal as each class is different and because she demonstrates and talks it through so thoroughly I have found myself trying things I never imagined. Yes I wobble but she has got me pushing and wanting to explore more than I thought possible. Most of all she is fun and knows how to make us laugh and I look forward to her smile at each session.  

I'm so grateful to have met her and practice with her and the wonderful ladies she has now introduced me to. Her classes have helped me through the most unbearable times and I have found learning and practising yoga with Didem has made me stronger and more flexible physically but, I also now realise, she has helped me through the grieving process.

I feel a little braver, stronger and happier after each class and ready to face what comes next. That's a big step for me right now!"

"Yours were the first yoga classes I went to and I kept coming back because they were fun and just tricky enough to make me want to do better without being so hard I thought I'd never get anywhere (except where having straight legs is concerned). I was so sad when you said you were moving Spain since we'd just started to become friends AND I was losing my yoga instructor. But I did think I would be able to replace the yoga. I thought all classes would be like yours – and they're not! It's very difficult to find a class that suits your particular requirements and lots of trial and error is required. I'm sorry to say that Covid-19 has been my yoga saviour because it means back to fun and varied classes with you. You never do two classes the same back to back and you like to introduce new things for us to work towards from time to time. I find my mind is wandering all over the place at the start of the class but the flow brings focus and the time flies. I look forward to my Tuesday and Thursday mornings with you and my fellow online yogis and really hope we can keep them going once life gets back to something like what we knew before 2020."

Since then I have never looked back. Didem reached out to us that were locked in at home and I for one was so grateful. I had never really done yoga before apart from the odd class here and there throughout the years. I have been a consistent yogi for over 1 year, minimum 2 a week.
